Discussion about "affordability": Working to earn money, or earning money to work?
The two fundamental forms of all economic activity are production and consumption. Most people are both producers (employees) and consumers. Donald Trump —it's fair to say—is more on the side of producers. And that brings us to the heart of the affordability debate, which has dominated American politics since the Republicans' defeat in New York and other states last Tuesday.
Affordability can be translated as affordability. The problem for Trump is that many everyday goods are not particularly affordable . This applies to coffee (whose price in September was 18.9 percent higher than the previous year), beef (up 14.7 percent), and chocolate (up 9.8 percent). The price level of all goods has risen by an average of 3.1 percent year-on-year.
